FORGED FLANGES

FORGED FLANGES MANUFACTURER

Additional Information

We are from one the leading manufacturers, supplier, exporter of flanges.

What is a flange?

A flange is used when pipes, valves, pumps, and other equipment needs to be connected. It gives maintenance flexibility and is useful in maintaining cleaning and modifications. A flanged joint is usually made by three separate interrelated components; the flanges, the gaskets, and the bolting. For better results and leak-proof joints, proper controls are required to choose and application of all the three components.
Hence, as we all know the value and importance of flanges, A.M. Engineering Works is all set to give you the best quality flanges(Steel flange, carbon steel flange, alloy steel, stainless steel flanges, duplex, super duplex and many more).

A.M. Engineering Works believes in high quality and gives warranty products along with different sizes, shapes, and specifications as per the customers’ requirements.. Our engineers are all set in providing high quality products with 100% warranty and traceability & M.T.C. Mill test certificate EN 10204- 3.1/3.2

WORLDWIDE TYPES OF FLANGES WE MANUFACTURE

Pipe flanges

Pipe flanges- Blind flanges are substantial disk use to form a stop or block off a pipeline. Blind flanges have the face stiffness of a flange, a matching face type, and a similar bolting pattern. They can also be used to seal a nozzle break on a pressure vessel. Because it’s bolted, the blind flange provides easy access to the inside of a container or pipe, unlike a cap that is welded.

Forged flanges

Forged flanges- Forged flanges connect two separate machine parts. They can be an extension of a structure to make the object more durable. Industrial flanges have numerous uses, including combining sheets, pumps, pipes, and structures that especially require a neutral point of connection.

Blind flanges Flanges

Blind flanges-Blind Pipe Flanges helps in testing the flow of gas or liquid through a pipeline or vessel. It helps to close the end of piping systems or vessel openings. It allows easy access to the pipe when there is a requirement to work done inside the line.

Weldneck Flanges

Weld neck flanges- Weld neck flanges are one of the commonly used flangs in the piping industry and are design to be joined the piping system by bun welding. They are often used for high-pressure applications.

Slip-on flanges

Slip-on flanges- Slip-on flanges are ideal for lower pressure applications and are easily fitted and welded into different pipes. They are slightly larger than the pipelines and are used in preference to Weld Necks by many users because of its lower cost and the fact that less accuracy is required when cutting pipe to length.

Orifice Flanges

Orifice flanges- Orifice Flanges are used with orifice meters to measure the flow rate of either liquids or gases in the respective pipeline. Pairs of pressure "Tappings," mostly on two sides, directly opposite each other, are machined into the orifice flange.

Threaded Flanges

Threaded flanges-Threaded flanges are also known as screwed flanges. Threaded pipe flanges are used with pipes that have outer threads. The benefit of these pipe flanges is, it can be attached without welding. These flanges are ideal for relatively low-pressure piping systems.

Lap joint Flanges

Lap joint flanges- Lap Joint Flanges are most commonly used with Stub End Fittings and slide over the pipe. Lap Joint pipe flanges are used for applications that require frequent dismantling. They are free to rotate around Stub end and often used for small diameter, high-pressure requirements.

Flanges plate

Flange plate- A flange plate is a flat, circular disk that joints two pipes by bolting and is welded onto the end of the tube.

Long weld neck Flanges

Long weld neck flanges- Long weld neck flanges are similar to standard weld neck flanges, but they have longer neck than the standard one. They are the anchors for water-mains or sources of gas being pumped into a more extensive network of pipes.

Socket weld Flanges

Socket weld flanges- Socket welding flanges initially designed for a high-pressure small diameters piping system. These pipe flanges are connected by injecting the pipe into the socket end and applying fillet weld around the top.

Flat Face Flanges

Flat face flanges- Flat face flanges or flat flanges have a flat surface which allows the gasket to have full contact with the entire mating surface. Flat face flanges are never to be bolted to a raised face flange.

ORIFICE FLANGES MANUFACTURER- A.M. ENGINEERING WORKS

Orifice Flanges are broadly used in association with orifice meters for estimating the volumetric flow rate of liquids and gases through a pipe. Two orifice flanges are known as orifice flange unions. Every flange comes with a pipe tap for estimating the pressure drop of the flow through an orifice plate.

A.M. Engineering Works manufacture Orifice flanges to ASME B16.36 in various sizes and materials and grades. We are the best exporter and manufacturer in the industry as we always maintain our quality standard and satisfy our customers with high-quality products and services. As we manufacture the products as per the customer’s requirements, feel free to contact us or email us to get your specifications.

Purpose of an Orifice Flange
  1. They are generally used with orifice meters to estimate the flow rate of either liquid or gases.
  2. An orifice plate, a medium measuring the flow of the internal fluid or gas, is obtained between two orifice flanges attached to the pipe.
  3. A ‘jack screw’ altered between the two flanges, it allows separating the flanges during the examination or replacement process.

Orifice Flanges are used in these Industries

  1. Heavy and light chemicals
  2. Steel
  3. Paper
  4. Nuclear
  5. Petrochemicals
  6. Sewage treatment
  7. Water treatment and distribution
  8. Power Generation
  9. Oil production and refining
  10. Gas Processing and transmission

Types of Orifice Flanges A.M Engineering Works Manufacture

Threaded Orifice Flange

These are threaded completely through the flange. For the greatest accuracy, Threaded Orifice flanges should be screwed onto the pipe is even with the face of its flange.

Slip-On Welding Orifice Flange

They are a ring that is placed over the pipe end, with the flange face lengthening from the end of the pipe by enough distance to apply a weld stone on the inside diameter.

Weld Neck Orifice Flanges

Weld-neck orifice flanges are butt-welded into the pipeline or lined up with the square end of the pipe. The inside diameter of the pipe should be specified when ordering.

Socket Weld Orifice Flanges

Socket-weld Orifice Flanges used on smaller sizes of high-pressure pipes. These pipe flanges are connected by injecting the pipe into the socket end and applying fillet weld around the top. This enables for a better flow of the fluid and a smooth bore.
