Typical Applications:

Forging and Heat Treatment:
- Forging: Preheat carefully, then raise the temperature to 850-1200°C. Cool slowly in still air.
- Annealing: Heat slowly to 680-700°C and cool in air.
- Hardening: If further heat treatment is required, heat to 860-890°C, quench in oil, and temper.
- Tempering: Soak at a suitable temperature for 2 hours per 25mm of the ruling section.
