What is the pipe?

The pipe is a deep section with a circular cross-section for the conveyance of products. Included Products are fluids, gas, pellets, powders, and more.

The most important dimension for a pipe is the outer diameter (OD) with the wall thickness (WT). OD minus two times WT (SCHEDULE) determines the inside diameter (ID) of a pipe, which defines the liquid capacity of the pipe.

The important mechanical parameters for pipes are the pressure rating, the yield strength, and flexibility. The usual combinations of pipe Nominal Pipe Size and Wall Thickness are covered by the ASME B36.10 and ASME B36.19 specifications. We mainly manufacture carbon and alloy pipes and stainless steel pipes other than that a wide range of material is also available.

TUBE MANUFACTURER

What is tube?

Tube refers to circular, square, rectangular, and oval hollow sections that are applied for pressure equipment, for mechanical applications, and instrumentation systems. Steel tubes for mechanical utilization are mostly of carbon steel.

Tubes are shown with the outer diameter and wall thickness, in inches or mm. Tubulars support several dimensional quality checks, such as straightness, wall thickness, roundness, surface, throughout the manufacturing process. Mechanical concentration is a major concern for tubes. Tubing is available in low alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel-alloys

TYPES OF PIPES AND TUBES MANUFACTURED BY A.M ENGINEERING

Standard Pipes
There are three types of standard metal pipes - welded (ERW Pipe), seamless pipe, and galvanized pipe. They represent 10% of all tubular products.

Line Pipes
They usually used primarily in Oil and Gas Applications. Line pipe covers ERW, FW, SAW, and DSAW Pipe. They are manufactured to API 5L Specification and are available in X42, X50, X60, etc. grades. They represent 21% of all tubular products.'

Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG)
They cover drill pipes, tubing, and casing. They are used in the drilling and completion of Oil and Gas wells. OCTG are composed of ERW and Seamless manufacturing. OCTG represent 35% of all tubular goods.

Pressure Tubings
They used for industrial and pressure applications. Pressure tubing is produced using seamless manufacturing. They represent 2% of all tubular goods.

Mechanical tubings
They are used for mechanical and structural application and is composed of ERW and seamless manufacturing. They adhere to ASTM specifications. Mechanical Tubing represents 17% of all tubular goods.

Structural Tubings
They are used for maintenance or holding purposes. This tubing can be circular or square and is composed of ERW manufacturing. They are utilized for fences, construction, and other misc. support needs. They represent 15% of all tubing goods.
